Sandra Kelley is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in Addiction Medicine. She focused on Medication for Opioid Use Disorder in 2017. She recently retired from the University of Kentucky where she saw patients with Substance Use Disorders in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor Degree in Nursing – Summa Cum Laude. She completed a Masters Degree in Nursing focus Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Kentucky in 2001.
Sandy has served on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Association of Nurse Practitioners/Nurse Midwives, the Kentucky Chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and the Kentucky Board of Alcohol Drug Counselors. She maintains membership in the KANPNM, Kentucky Association of Addiction Professionals, Kentucky Nurses Association, and the American Nurses Association. She was commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel in 2018 for her work in addiction treatment.
