Izabella Dawhare, BA, is a passionate and community-driven behavioral health professional currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Kentucky. With a strong academic background in Psychology from Transylvania University and extensive hands-on experience, "Bella" brings both warmth and professionalism to her Targeted Case Manager role at DeNova.
Originally from Eastern Kentucky, Bella earned her Associate of Arts from Hazard Community & Technical College before completing her bachelor’s degree at Transylvania, graduating with distinction and multiple academic honors. She has served in various capacities across mental health and community service organizations, including the Hope Center, Guiding Hope Counseling Center, and Appalachian Regional Healthcare. These roles have equipped her with firsthand knowledge in case management, behavioral health liaison work, and supporting underserved populations.
Bella's time at DeNova is marked by her dedication to accessible and compassionate care, particularly for individuals navigating recovery and mental health challenges. She is known for her empathetic communication, attention to detail, and strong advocacy skills. Whether she’s organizing resources, supporting clients with administrative needs, or simply offering a listening ear, she approaches every task with humility and heart.
