About Jonathan Schinhofen, LPCC-S

Jonathan Schinhofen, LPCC-S, works as a therapist in both the Lexington, and Richmond, KY locations. After receiving a BS in Mathematics from Eastern Mennonite University and an MS in Statistics from the University of Virginia, Schinhofen became licensed in 2015 after graduating from the University of the Cumberlands in 2015 with an MA in Professional Counseling. He continued at the University of the Cumberlands to earn an MA in Addiction Counseling in 2017.
Jonathan has participated in a number of volunteer activities such as establishing a chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) chapter in Madison County, KY, serving on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky chapter of NAMI, serving on the Human Rights Counsel in Berea, KY, and leadership in a teen group in his religious community. While he specializes in substance use treatment, he also sees clients who have co-occurring disorders.
